Christine’s Story

Are you in crisis?

Christine Carradine christine for newsletter.jpg

Christine has been with PORT for one year as an Independent Practitioner at our Wilmington location. Christine always puts 100% into every day and every one of her patients.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Working here at PORT, I appreciate the ability to work with such a positive and competent team. Everyone in Wilmington and the organization genuinely focuses on the needs of our patients. It's great to see so much effort being put forth. I enjoy the challenge and diversity that each new day brings and being able to provide a variety of services that meet our patients where they are. Focusing on the strengths of every individual and being able to celebrate his or her progress and growth is what makes being a clinician so incredibly rewarding!

When not at work, what are some of your favorite things to do?

I am a big fan of the outdoors and physical activity! If I am not running then I am with my family and our dogs exploring trails. I am interested in how nutrition and exercise impact mental health. On my time off I alwasy try and get in some sort of physical activity. I also love to travel. I spend countless hours with my family planning our next adventure!

Christine is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and is currently working on obtaining her full LCAS licensure. Also, she was awarded the Symbol of Teamwork Recognition Coin with working for the State of Michigan at Marquette Branch Prison.
